Terms of Use

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement. If you use RigCoach for a business, you confirm you’re allowed to accept these Terms for that business.

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use RigCoach on devices you own or control, for your own trucking work. You may not copy, sell, rent, reverse engineer, or resell RigCoach, or use it to build a competing product.

The loads, fuel, expenses, documents, scans, notes and other information you enter (“Your Data”) belong to you. Today, Your Data is stored on your phone, not on our servers. You are responsible for keeping your phone secure and for backing up Your Data. If you delete the app or lose your phone, Your Data may be lost. Our Privacy Policy explains how data is handled.

RigCoach shows calculations and estimates to help you make decisions, including take-home pay, rate per mile, fuel cost and diesel prices, settlement checks, detention times, IFTA reports, tax reports, per diem and maintenance reminders.

• These numbers are only as accurate as the information you enter and the data sources we use (for example, weekly diesel prices from the U.S. Energy Information Administration).
• RigCoach is not tax, legal, accounting, financial or compliance advice. Check reports with your accountant, carrier, or IFTA base jurisdiction before filing or relying on them.
• You are responsible for your own tax filings, IFTA returns, settlements and business decisions.
• Scale check gives estimates only. Axle weights, slide suggestions and fuel tips can be wrong, and legal limits vary by state, axle setup and permits. Always reweigh at a certified scale and check local limits before you drive. You are responsible for staying within legal weights.
• Weather and alerts come from the National Weather Service and may be wrong, late or missing. Always use your own judgment, official road information and your carrier’s instructions.
• Health tips are general wellness information, not medical advice. Talk to a doctor about your health.

• Do not use RigCoach while driving. Federal rules (FMCSA) limit handheld phone use in a commercial motor vehicle. RigCoach locks most actions while the truck is moving, but staying safe and legal is your responsibility.
• Arrival times, ETAs and alerts do not account for your hours of service (HOS), breaks, traffic, weather or road restrictions. Always plan trips within your available hours and follow all traffic and safety laws.
• Maintenance and document reminders are a convenience. You remain responsible for inspections, maintenance and keeping your credentials current.

RigCoach can prepare messages and files (for example to dispatch, brokers or your carrier) and open other apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram, email or text messages to send them. You decide what to send and to whom. Those apps are run by other companies under their own terms.

Don’t use RigCoach to break the law, falsify records (such as logs, receipts, PODs or settlement documents), infringe anyone’s rights, or harm the app or other users.

RigCoach may offer paid features or subscriptions in the future. If it does, prices, trial terms and renewal terms will be shown before you buy. Purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are billed and managed by them, and you cancel or request refunds through your store account under their policies.

We may update, change or discontinue features. We may update these Terms; we’ll change the effective date and, for important changes, let you know in the app or on our website. Continuing to use RigCoach after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

You can stop using RigCoach at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms. Sections 3, 4, 11, 12, 13 and 14 continue after your use ends.

RigCoach is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We don’t promise RigCoach will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that estimates will be accurate.

To the fullest extent the law allows, AmdyLabs will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost loads, fines, penalties, taxes, or lost data, arising from your use of RigCoach. Our total liability for any claim related to RigCoach is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for RigCoach in the 12 months before the claim, or $50. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.

You agree to cover AmdyLabs against claims and costs arising from your misuse of RigCoach or your violation of these Terms or the law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Michigan, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.

If you downloaded RigCoach from the Apple App Store:

• These Terms are between you and AmdyLabs only, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for RigCoach or its content.
• Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for RigCoach.
• If RigCoach fails to meet any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price (if any). Apple has no other warranty obligation.
• AmdyLabs, not Apple, is responsible for any claims about RigCoach, including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, consumer protection and intellectual property claims.
• You confirm you are not in a country under a U.S. government embargo and are not on any U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

If you downloaded RigCoach from Google Play, Google Play’s terms also apply to your download and any purchases.
